The Site of Farson Digital's second webcam, is this great view of Umberleigh Bridge in North Devon as it crosses the River Taw. The Rising Sun Inn is in the backround of the picture, this is one of the most famous fishing Inn's in the UK. It was in the bar of the Inn, that the conversation took place which spawned the creation of Farson Digital Water Cams. Many thanks to Murch's Antiques Emporium for providing a superb location for the camera. The River Taw rises at Taw Head, a spring on the central northern flanks of Dartmoor. It reaches the Bristol Channel 45 miles away on the north coast of Devon at a joint estuary mouth which it shares with the River Torridge. The river picks up headwaters from a number of tributaries, including the Lapford Yeo, the Little Dart River and the River Mole, which rises on Devon's other upland area, Exmoor. The Taw's salmon and sea trout fishing gives the river its reputation, although there is good brown trout fishing, especially on the upper reaches of the system.
